The Ole Miss Rebels are in offseason mode, shifting focus from a successful 2023 campaign to new heights this fall. Some players, however, are now pursuing dreams of reaching the National Football League, and three of those men got a step closer on Tuesday.

Rebels Deantre Prince (CB), Cedric Johnson (OLB/DE) and Daijahn Anthony (S) have all accepted invitations to participate in this year's NFL Combine set to take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Feb. 29-March 3.

Prince has been on Ole Miss' roster since 2021, and he has totaled six interceptions over the course of four seasons. He spent the 2020 season at Northwest Mississippi Community College before returning to Oxford the following year. His lone interception in 2023 came in Week 2 against the Tulane Green Wave, one that he returned for 44 yards.

Johnson was the recipient of the 2023 Chucky Mullins Courage Award at Ole Miss, and he has also spent four years in a Rebel uniform. He put up a career total of 19 sacks in those four years, including 5.5 this season alongside a forced fumble.

Anthony originally suited up with the Liberty Flames (2021-22) at the Division I level before transferring to Ole Miss for his final collegiate season. In 2023, he registered 61 total tackles and intercepted three passes, adjusting well to life in the Southeastern Conference.

These three Rebels are just some of those with hopes of making it to the next level, but their time will come this spring to showcase their talents to the NFL scouts in attendance in Indianapolis.
